Black Oak Built-In Office Wall Unit

This built-in office wall unit takes up a whole wall from floor to ceiling. We made it in a single black oak colour with an open wood grain: shelving, drawer blocks and tall closed cupboards.

Shelving and drawers in one recess

In the centre is an open bookcase with a back panel in the same colour. The long shelves are divided by short uprights offset from tier to tier, so the compartments vary in width. Below runs a wide top, with two blocks of two drawers standing under it. The drawers have long recessed profile handles that do not project beyond the face of the front.

Tall fronts up to the ceiling

On the right the storage is closed by four tall handleless fronts. This is floor-to-ceiling furniture: there is no top surface to gather dust, and the wall reads as one dark plane.
