A long loft table made to order: a honey-toned solid wood top on two metal supports with an angled outline. The table stands on the sales floor of a clothing shop, beside a glass partition.
The tabletop is a glued panel of solid wood with visible staves and knots. The edge is slightly rounded so that clothes and hands do not catch on it. The warm honey tone sets the table apart from the white floor and dark shop windows.
Each support is a frame of dark metal profile: two uprights and a floor-level bar bent at an angle. The bend keeps the support stable without a lengthwise apron, and the space under the table stays clear. The same idea, a light top on dark supports, appears in the meeting room photo: a table made of several tops, with a storage wall in a black frame and timber fronts alongside. Other tables on metal are the dining table on a central base and the office desks on A-frames. For a home dining room we made the slab table with a yellow fill on timber supports.
A table like this suits a shop, a showroom, a meeting room or a large dining room. We match the length, the wood finish and the shape of the supports to the room. See custom furniture for business.
